In order to rent a car in Armenia driver's age must be at least 21 with one year driving experience. In general, car rental in Armenia is not the most comfortable way to travel around the Armenia. Because it is better to "purchase" a taxi with a driver for the day which will cost the same amount (if not cheaper) and thus you don’t have to watch the road where unpredictable actions of other drivers is not rare, to navigate in signs and plot a route.
